Ship yard for outfitting the ship is good, new space station look, and more!


I didn't get to push a demo out like I wanted to. But times are iffy and I'm more into self care than burning the midnight butter. I really can't do it like I could. Getting older pretty much blows chunks on your prom date.

Anywho, I did get the Shipyard or ship shop (which kinna sounds better actually, maybe) and you can edit the ship parts pretty well now. I also made changes to to the station in prep for base building and expansion.

Behind the scenes are some more sound/music things happening as well as general game mechanics prep. I plan to have many more ship options and space encounters but the basics are mostly done. Missions will be after base construction play. Bosses before missions. Sector travel may be on hold or changed to something else, but it's not as important as getting a demo through. Sector travel is important to change the difficulty and availability of resources, so it is important.

I still think having an out-of-ship type experience would be neat. I'm fiddling with twin stick style and click adventure style... maybe both, but really the twin-stick style can be done seamlessly with the ship view, and seems neat-o. Multi-player is still on the list but very future talk.
